Tribute to Jon Hodge

Jon often gave me a lift from Harrogate into Leeds in his (beloved) Subaru, and we would chat about anything, but of course often about Darwin, Mayr and the philosophy of biology. I always learnt something interesting from him. He also introduced us to Ukrainian church music. He contributed materially to making Leeds a world centre of HPS, and will be much missed.
